科里环形山

科里环形山（Cori）是位于月球背面南半部的一座大撞击坑，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪[1]，其名称取自美国首位获得诺贝尔生理学或医学奖的女性、生化学家格蒂·科里（1896年-1957年），1979年被国际天文学联合会批准接受[2]。

该陨坑东北毗邻格里索姆环形山、东南偏东坐落卡勒环形山，斯托尼陨石坑位于它的西南偏南、南面则靠近巴尔代环形山[4]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为50°29′S 152°55′W / 50.48°S 152.91°W / -50.48; -152.91，直径67.22公里[5]，深度约2.746公里[1]。

科里环形山外观轮廓圆状，坑壁已受到部分侵蚀，沿北侧壁横跨了一座小陨石坑，环西侧内坡底分布有岩壁崩塌形成的岩屑堆。陨坑坑壁最大高出周边地形1260米[1]，内部容积约3963.68立方公里[1]。碗状的坑底相对平坦，表面布满众多的细小撞击坑穴，靠东侧内壁底坐落了一座醒目的撞击坑。
