劇情
故一位住在美國印第安納州的17歲女高中生艾瑪·諾蘭（Emma Nolan），為了想邀請心儀的女生參加畢業舞會，竟引發校內軒然大波，家長會更群起反彈，阻止她參加舞會。而就在此時，一群來在紐約百老匯的舞台劇演員，突然現身在這所默默無名的高中校園，準備帶來天翻地覆的大改變[4]。
