比伊陨石坑

比伊陨石坑（Billy）是月球正面位于风暴洋南侧边缘的一座撞击坑，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪[1]，其名称取自十七世纪法国耶稣会数学家"雅克·德·比伊"(Jacques de Billy，1602年-1679年)，1935年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

描述

该陨坑西北靠近大小类似的汉斯廷陨石坑、东北偏东毗邻勒特罗纳环形山、长达70公里的比伊月溪(Rima Billy)蜿蜒在它的西南、北面则矗立着三角状的汉斯廷山[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为13°50′S 50°14′W / 13.83°S 50.24°W / -13.83; -50.24，直径45.57公里[3]，深度2.28公里[4]。

比伊陨石坑内部已被熔岩淹没，形成一圈纤薄、低矮的坑壁，其中东南壁连接着一片山区高地地形，南侧壁上则显示有一道狭窄的裂缝，坑壁高出周边地形1080米[1]，坑内容积约1614.83公里3[1]。幽暗平坦的坑底其反照率明显低于周边背景，表面散布有一些细小的陨坑以及一座高约1080米的中央峰。该陨坑的坑底在施特罗亮度表中的亮度值为1½°。
