格里夫斯陨石坑

格里夫斯陨石坑（Greaves）是位于月球正面危海西南边沿的一座小撞击坑，约形成于32-11亿年前的爱拉托逊纪[1]，其名称取自英国天文学家威廉·迈克尔·赫伯特·格里夫斯（William Michael Herbert Greaves，1897年-1955年），1976年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

该陨坑西侧毗邻略大的格莱舍陨石坑、西北靠近靠近被熔岩淹没的耶基斯陨石坑，年轻的皮卡德陨石坑位于它的东北、南面则横亘了利克陨石坑。格里夫斯陨石坑的西面是睡沼、东北和东南分别绵延着奥佩尔山脊和泰尔米埃山脊[3]。

该陨坑中心月面坐标为13°11′N 52°47′E / 13.18°N 52.79°E / 13.18; 52.79，直径14.27公里[4]，深约2.30公里[1]。

格里夫斯陨石坑外观呈圆碗状，带有一个平坦的小坑底，坑壁平均高出周边地形530米[1]，其形态特征隶属于BIO 型（以该类陨石坑的典型代表——毕奥陨石坑命名）。

在1976年被国际天文学联合会正式命名前，该陨坑曾被称作卫星坑利克 D（即卫星坑标记法：以所靠近的主坑名+字母命名）。
