文字編輯 (應用程式)

文字編輯（英語：TextEdit）是一款簡易开源的文字處理器以及文件編輯器，首次出現在NeXT、NEXTSTEP和OPENSTEP系統上。目前除了支援蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）開發的Mac OS X操作系统，另外以GNUstep的形式存在unix相容作業系統上，像是Linux。

文字編輯取代了早期麥金塔電腦上的SimpleText。文字編輯可讀取的文件格式包括Rich Text Format、Rich Text Format Directory以及純文字檔案。

文字編輯的源代码作为macOS集成开发环境（IDE）Xcode文档的一部分。 在互联网上，可以在Apple的Mac开发人员库中找到文字編輯的源代码。^[1]以下引用来自源代码中包含的新的BSD兼容许可证文本的特征部分：
