此外，《易經》裏的「陽」爻與「陰」爻，《太玄經》稱作「天」和「地」，但Unicode仍沿用「陽」和「陰」之命名，稱作“Monogram for yang”與“Monogram for yin”。至於《太玄經》比《易經》多出的「人」爻（𝌀），Unicode誤譯作“earth”（即「地」）而不是正確的“human、man、person”等字詞，稱之爲“Monogram for earth”[3]。雖然已有專家發現問題並要求更正[4]，但後來的Unicode官方文件只是加註了普通話拼音“ren”及說明“usually associated with human (Chinese rén), rather than earth (Chinese dì)”（通常關聯作「人」而非「地」），卻仍不更正“Monogram for earth”這錯誤命名。
