大衛·M·葛蘭茨 （英語：David M. Glantz，1942年1月11日－）是一位美國軍事歷史學家、退役陸軍上校，以研究第二次世界大戰蘇德戰爭（東線）與蘇聯紅軍而聞名，他同時也是軍事期刊《斯拉夫軍事史研究雜誌（英语：The Journal of Slavic Military Studies）》的總編輯[1]。

生平

葛蘭茨出生於美國紐約州契斯特港（英语：Port Chester），畢業於维吉尼亚军事学院、北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校、美國陸軍指揮參謀學院以及國防語言學院，於1965年以少尉軍官身份進入美國陸軍野戰砲兵服役，並被佈署於越南戰爭中越南平隆省美國陸軍第2軍（英语：II Corps (United States)）的「火力支援與協調單元（英语：Fire support coordination element）」。1969年，葛蘭茨返回美國，於陸軍指揮參謀學院教授戰爭史。1973年7月1日，美軍於陸軍訓練與條令司令部下開設「戰鬥研究中心」（Combat Studies Institute），葛蘭茨參與該中心的蘇軍研究項目。1977年至1979年，他再出任美國駐歐陸軍司令部情報參謀辦公室主任。1979年當上了陸軍戰鬥研究首席研究員，1983年又再擔任美國陸軍戰爭學院（英语：United States Army War College）「陸戰中心蘇聯軍作戰研究處」（Office of Soviet Army Operations at the Center for Land Warfare）處長。1986年，葛蘭茨負責組建和領導「外國軍事研究辦公室（英语：Foreign Military Studies Office）」。1993年，於軍中服役超過三十年、年逾50的葛蘭茨以陸軍上校軍階退役。1998年，葛蘭茨與喬納森·M·豪斯（英语：Jonathan House）共同出版了《巨人的碰撞》[2]。

2000年，美國「軍事史學會（英语：Society for Military History）」頒授葛蘭茨「塞繆爾·埃利奧特·莫里森獎」（Samuel Eliot Morison Prize）[3]。2015年，葛蘭茨被俄羅斯聯邦國防部長謝爾蓋·紹伊古大將授予「加强军事合作獎章（俄语：Медаль «За укрепление боевого содружества» (Министерство обороны России)）」。
