基督教传教活动

基督教传教活动現今通常涉及教会向其他地方（例如外国）派遣个人（传教士）或团体到他们的家乡传播宗教。这包括通过传福音、吸引新信徒来使基督教扩张，以及其他人道主义工作，例如照顾穷人和弱势人群。传教团体拥有传讲基督教信仰、管理圣礼的权力，并通过人道主义活动来改善经济、文艺、教育、医疗卫生，还经常建立孤儿院。基督教教条允许向人提供援助而不强制其信仰基督教^[1][2]。
