唐·布鲁斯
唐纳德·维吉尔·布鲁斯（Donald Virgil Bluth；1937年9月13日－） [2]是一名美国电影导演，也是动画、美工和游戏设计师，早年为迪士尼工作，从迪士尼出走后，开始与迪士尼竞争，形成迪士尼文艺复兴。

生平
布鲁斯出生于埃尔帕索，是Emaline (原姓Pratt) 和维吉尔·布鲁斯（Virgil Ronceal Bluth）的儿子[3]。他的曾祖父是耶稣基督后期圣徒教会的早期领袖赫拉曼·普拉特。他有瑞典、英国、爱尔兰、苏格兰和德国血统。 [4]
小时候他就喜欢骑着马到镇上的电影院看迪士尼电影。布鲁斯后来说，“然后我会回家并抄下我能找到的每一本迪士尼漫画书”[5]。六岁时，全家搬到了犹他州佩森[6]，1954年搬到加利福尼亚州的圣莫尼卡[7]。布鲁斯曾在犹他州杨百翰大学就读一年。1955年，他被華特迪士尼動畫工作室录用，进入《睡美人》剧组。
1957年，布鲁斯离开迪士尼，回忆说他觉得这部作品“有点无聊”[8]。他花了两年半时间在阿根廷为耶稣基督后期圣徒教会传教。回到美国后，他在卡尔弗城开了一家剧院，表演音乐剧，如《欢乐音乐妙无穷》和《音乐之声》。[9]
布鲁斯返回大学继续读书，在杨百翰大学获得英语文学学位，1967年重返动画行业，并加入Filmation[9]。1971年，他以动画实习生的身份全职回到迪士尼。他负责的第一个项目是《罗宾汉》[10]。在制作《救難小英雄》时，布鲁斯升职为动画导演。
在制作《狐狸与猎狗》时，他和公司管理层就制片权力问题发生冲突。1979年42岁生日时，他和加里·戈德曼、约翰·波默罗伊等人宣布退出迪士尼，成立自己的工作室（Don Bluth Productions）[11][12]。
