印度伊斯蘭教

伊斯兰教在印度是信仰人口第二多的宗教（僅次於印度教），2011年官方統計顯示印度有1.72億名穆斯林[2][3]，2020年印度的穆斯林人口估計已達2億人[1]，佔印度總人口中約15%[4]。印度的穆斯林人數位列世界排名第三，只低過全國人口絕大多數為穆斯林的印尼和巴基斯坦兩国[5]。伊斯蘭教最早於七世紀由阿拉伯商人傳至印度西岸的馬拉巴爾海岸[6]、康坎與古吉拉特等地[7]，喀拉拉邦的切拉曼主麻清真寺建於西元629年，被認為是印度的第一座清真寺[8][9]。1073年，法蒂瑪王朝哈里發穆斯坦綏爾派遣使團到古吉拉特，將什葉派支派伊斯瑪儀派傳入[10]。十二世紀，突厥人入侵北印度時將伊斯蘭教傳入該地，使其成為印度文化的一部份[11]。數個世紀以來，印度伊斯蘭教與印度教的文化互有相當程度的文化整合[12][13] ，穆斯林也在印度的社會、經濟與政治等領域扮演重要角色[14]。

和其他宗教的冲突 编辑

伊斯兰教传入次大陆后，和本地多神论的印度教冲突不断，从莫卧儿时代延续至今（因宰牛及反種姓的問題），2014年莫迪领导的印度人民党上台執政，在該党深厚的印度教背景下，更加剧了兩教間的矛盾。[15]
